We receive many questions pertaining to LASER Hair Removal, and perhaps the following will answer any questions that you would like answered before calling for your appointment at: 504-885-8363

• How many treatments will I need?
  • Three to four treatments are needed to effect the maximum benefit of laser hair removal. This is due to the cycle of hair growth (there being three phases as pointed out in the text).

• How much does it cost and is each treatment the same price?
  • You will have to call or visit our office for specific costs as there are specific costs for each area (depending on the size of the area to be treated the thickness of the hair, etc).The cost for each treatment is the same (could be less depending on response). Final evaluation will be determined when you are examined and evaluated at the time of your visit. You can all for the costs or an appointment at 504-885-8363.

• Is the treatment painful?
  • The treatment is not completely painless, but most can tolerate it without, much, discomfort. Topical anesthesia is sometimes used (depending on circumstances).

• How close together are the treatments?
  • Treatment intervals are at two to four weekly intervals (depending on the individual’s hair growth).

• Are the treatments administered by technicians or doctors?
  • We, the physicians, do our own treatments (we are board certified dermatologists and know the anatomy and physiology of the skin!)
