• How many treatments will I need?
  • The number of treatments will vary depending on the individual’s bodily response to each treatment (in picking up the shattered pigment each time). This may be four or more needed treatments at about four to six week intervals.

• How much does it cost?
  • Cost for tattoo removal depends on the size and amount of pigment in the tattoo. Call the office at 504-885-8363 for an estimate. Actual cost will be given prior to doing the procedure on examination.

• Is the treatment painful?
  • We use local anesthesia. There is little or no pain associated with the procedure. Your day will not be interrupted.

• Are the treatments administered by technicians or doctors?
  • We, the physicians, do all of our Laser treatments (we are board certified dermatologists and know the anatomy and physiology of the skin.)
