It is now possible to treat for removal of blood vessels up to fairly large sizes with lasers. The treatment causes a "drying up " effect and disappearance of those vessels.
We have in house two such LASERs. One treats the red superficial vessels seen on the face with rosacea. This LASER also treats those red superficial vessels, so outstanding, on the thighs and legs.
The other LASER compliments the treatment by having the ability to dry up those larger blue-colored vessels, deep, as well as the veins described above and, usually, present on the thighs and legs.
Treatment is rendered at the same time with both LASERs (side by side). Each of these LASERs has its own wavelength and does its particular task.
The procedure is non-invasive and causes very little or no discomfort. As is true with most of these procedures, little time is required and one walks away with no problems.
